LPN Staff - Omaha Specialty Rehabilitation Hospital 7a-7p (36 hrs)

This is a hospital-based Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) settingâ?? This position is in a hospital environment that is focused on medical stabilization and rehabilitation of patients with complex conditions, chronic illness, or catastrophic injury.  It offers a faster-pace and varied work setting.  As a LTACH RN, you will strengthen critical-thinking and assessment skills, and support rehabilitation while developing meaningful relationships with patients and their families in a collaborative hospital setting

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivers direct patient care, administers prescribed medication and treatments to patient
• Compiles, compares and records patient care information
• Contributes to the assessment of patient condition and communicates any changes
• Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members
• Collaborates with clinical services team to deliver excellent patient care
• Communicates effectively with physicians, families and patients

  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Active LPN license in state of Nebraska
• CPR certification
• Clinical experience preferred
